Innovative Teaching Methods
The Teaching-Learning Process is the central component of any educational institution (TLP). RCPACS is mostly focused on the TLP. Teachers strive to innovate the teaching- learning process so that the stakeholders, the students, profit as much as possible from it. When semester activities are scheduled in advance on the calendar, teachers find it easier to manage their workload. It guarantees TLP's effective and profitable operation. In order to improve student performance, department has embraced holistic education and done all the required actions to curate the curriculum and syllabus in- house.
In order to comply with regulations, the department of physics' teaching-learning process (TLP) seeks to improve students' knowledge and skills. The institute takes a student-centric approach, using creative TLP to address the needs of students or stakeholders.
Students that maintain academic integrity throughout the semester have a competitive advantage,as well as the professional knowledge, employability skills, and ability top as the challenging tests required to graduate from university.
In light of the dynamic environment, faculties have embraced the use of a range of technologies and tactics to improve teaching and learning.
Sr. No. | Innovative Teaching Learning Techniques | Activities | Objectives | Outcome |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Use of ICT | Teaching Learning Process (TLP) conduct | To effectively use ICT in the classroom Process of learning prior to, during, and following a pandemicc |
TLP conducted with the incorporation of several tools, such as Projectors, Internet access, and smart boards are necessary for interactive education. |
Utilizing and integratingseveral internetplatforms, such as a licensed version of Zoom and MSTeam, toconduct online TLP. | ||||
2 | Use of ICT | Google Classroom creationE-resource sharing | To efficiently distribute resources to pupils in order to improve their knowledge | Use Google Classrooms to assign and mark homework without using paper copies. E-Platform to offer educational resources |
Assignments are available in GCR and are posted there. surveys administered via MS Forms and Google Forms. |

3 | Project Work | Project-Based Learning (PBL) | PBL involves students working on real-world physics projects to solve practical challenges | This method encourages active learning, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students learn by applying their knowledge to develop prototypes or solutions, gaining a deeper understanding of physical concepts and their application. |
4 | Flipped Classroom | Peer Teaching,Seminar | To invert traditional teaching methods by delivering instructional content for active learning, discussion, and application of concepts. | These activities foster a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, where students take an active role in constructing their knowledge and engaging with course materials in meaningful ways. |
5 | Collaborative Learning | Group Projects,Peer review | Encourage students to work in teams on complex physics related problems or design projects | Enhances communication skills, promotes teamwork, and exposes students to diverse perspectives, which can lead to more comprehensive solutions. |
6 | Group Discussions | Topic-wise Discussion | To foster critical thinking, collaborative learning, and active engagement among students. | These discussions typically involve a facilitator or moderator who helps guide the conversation and ensure that everyone gets a chance to participate and contribute |
