Department Advisory Board
A Department Advisory Board (DAB) of department of Physics and Electronics plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academia and industry. It consists of a group of external members who bring their expertise and industry knowledge to the table. The DAB provides guidance, feedback, and assistance to academic departments on issues important to their programs. They help ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and aligns with current business needs and future trends
The responsibilities of a DAB may include :
- Suggesting improvements in academic plans.
- Recommending standard practices and systems for the attainment of program educational objectives (PEOs).
- Encouraging industry-institute interactions to bridge curriculum and industry gaps.
- Suggesting quality improvement initiatives to enhance employability
