The History Department Library curates and provides access to historical resources. The History Department library’s mission is to promote historical study and education by offering access to a diverse variety of resources and expertise.

This library consists of the following components:

1. Collections:

    Special collections include PhD theses, MPhil dissertations, rare books, and first editions. Periodicals include historical journalsand newspapers.

2. Service:

    Research Assistance: Assist with locating and utilizing historical materials. Digital resources include online databases, digital archives, and e-books. Workshops & seminars: Learn how to use historical resources and perform research. Exhibitions: Showcases of historical items and records.

3. Facilities: - Reading Rooms : Quiet spaces for researching historical materials.

  • Access to technology, such as computers and other research equipment.

4. Online Resource: - Digital archives are online collections of digital documents and photographs.

5. Outreach and Engagement:

    Lectures and Talks: Events with historians and specialists. Publications include research guides and bibliographies.
