As per North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, a candidate for being eligible for admission to the First Year of the three year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XIIth Standard) Examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

SCIENCE STREAM (GENERAL):

  • English (Higher or Lower level) carrying 100 marks.
  • Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any Classical Language or Information Technology carrying 100 marks.
  • Any four subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 400 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Geography, Economics, Geology, Psychology.

OR,

  • Any three subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 300 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Geography, Economics, Geology, Psychology, and
  • Any one optional subject carrying 100 marks as prescribed for HSC (XIIthStandard) Examination.

OR,

VOCATIONAL STREAM:

Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XIIth Standard) Examination with Vocational subjects conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

  • English (Higher or Lower level) carrying 100 marks.
  • Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks prescribed for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XIIthStandard) Examination under the Technical, Commerce, Agriculture, Catering & Food Technology or Fisheries Groups.
  • Any three subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 300 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics.

OR,

S. C. (VOCATIONAL) [MCVC] STREAM:

Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XIIth Standard) Examination with the Minimum Competency based Vocational courses conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

  • English (Higher or Lower level) carrying Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any Classical Language or Information Technology carrying 100 marks.
  • General Foundation Course carrying 100 marks.
  • Any three subjects of the Minimum Competency Vocational subjects carrying 300 marks prescribed for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XIIthStandard) Examination under Engineering & Technology, Agriculture, Catering & Food Technology, Fisheries or Para-Medical Groups.

OR,

Further that the students, passing the HSC (XIIth Standard) Examination with the MCVC stream shall be eligible of admission to the F.Y.B.Sc. For certain subject combinations only depending on their Minimum Competency Vocational subjects of the MCVC stream as specified in the following Table:

Must have passed an examination of another University or Body Recognized as equivalent thereto.

OR,

Must have at least passed the Second Year Examination of the Post S.S.C. (XthStandard) Three Year Engineering Diploma Course conducted by / approved by / recognized by / affiliated to the Maharashtra Board of Technical Education of another Body/Board recognized as equivalent thereto. These students of Engineering Diploma Courses shall be eligible to offer any four of the following subjects for admission to the F.Y.B.Sc.:- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, and Information Technology.

ADMISSIONS TO THE STUDENTS WHO ARE IN SERVICE

Almost all courses in the University are full time courses. Therefore students, who are in service, should not be admitted as a regular student directly. Therefore Admission Authority should ensure that no such students be admitted. Before giving such admissions the Principal of the College should furnish following documents to the University and obtain approval.

  • Permission letter from the concerned Employer
  • Certificate regarding duty time and working hours.
  • Time table of the Class / Course.
  • Leave sanction order if any from the concerned
