Departmental Advisory Board
A Departmental Advisory Board in Economics typically consists of a group of individuals and expertise in various areas of Economics. The purpose of such a board to provide guidance, advice and support to the department in matters related to curriculum development, research priorities, strategic planning and overall improvement of academic Programs.
The Role and Responsibility of Departmental Advisory Board (DAB)
Strategic Planning : The DAB assists in setting long term goals and strategic priorities for the department.
Curriculum Development and Review : Members of the DAB contribute to the review and development of the departmentcurriculum. They provide input on course offerings program structure and educational resources to ensure the academic program.
Quality Assurance : The DAB plays a role in maintaining the Quality and relevance of academic programs within the department.
Research and Innovation : DAB members offer expertise and guidance on research initiatives within the department.
Evaluation and Assessment : The DAP Participates in the evaluation and assessment of departmental activities and initiatives. This may involve reviewing performance, monitoring programs towards goals and providing feedback on the departmental strategies.
