Innovative Teaching Methods
- Any educational institution's core is its Teaching Learning Process (TLP). On the TLP, Department of Chemistry is mostly focused. In order to ensure that the stakeholders (students), receive the most benefit possible from the teaching-learning process, faculties work hard to innovate it.Teachers find it easier to schedule their workload when semester activities are prearranged in the calendar. It ensures the efficient and successful operation of TLP.
- In order to improve student performance, department has embraced holistic education and done all the required actions to curate the curriculum and syllabus in-house.
- The department of chemistry teaching-learning process (TLP) aims to increase student knowledge and abilities in order to meet regulatory requirements. The department uses a student-centric approach in which the needs of the students (stakeholders) are catered to through the creative TLP.
- Academic integrity throughout the semester gives students a competitive edge and equips them with professional knowledge, employability skills, and the capacity to pass the difficult exams needed to earn a university degree.
- Faculties have embraced the use of a variety of technologies and strategies to make teaching and learning more innovative and successful in light of the ever-changing environment.

3 | Assessment & Evaluation | Formative assessment Innovative Exam assessment | To get better understanding of the students learning through continuous evaluation | For each subject the conduction of Formative Assessment (FA) is scheduled at the start of the semester. The purpose of innovative examination in assessment is to help students become more skilled at applying the concepts and subjects they have learnt in novel ways. |
4 | Inclusive classroom | Activity Based Learning Project based Learning Research Based Learning Employability Skill Development |
To improve interdisciplinary learning for students overall growth | With the use of hands-on activities, Activity Based Learning encourages students to actively engage in a variety of activities, either individually or in groups, providing them with their own unique learning opportunities. The purpose of incorporating Research Based Learning into the curriculum was to motivate students to work in groups to complete small projects in their areas of interest. NET-SET-GATE exam training is conducted for interested students. |
In conclusion, student involvement results from innovation in Teaching Learning Process (TLP). It might concentrate on the growth of the learner with the aid of different pedagogical techniques. The main result of TLP innovations is to increased engagement between students and faculties. Additionally, faculties are efficient and given access to the newest instruments and technologies available in the department.
