Alumni Association

R.C.Patel Arts., Commerce and Science College hasthe alumni association which works effectively since 2000. Due to the excellent rapport shared by our faculties with alumni we are able to make a strong bonding and network between alumni and institute. Many of them are willing to 'Give-Back' to their alma-mater as a sign of their gratitude and affinity towards the institution in the format of their knowledge and skills that they have learned in this huge education world. Earlier we have an informal alumni association committee which is working effectively but with the different suggestions by alumni we have recently transformed this informal group to formal registered Alumni Association. R.C.Patel Arts., Commerce and Science College, Shirpur established a registered Alumni Association with registration Number Dhule /0000047/2024 via the Act 1860(XXI of 1860).

An alumni association is a vital part of the college, fostering a lifelong connection between the institution and its graduates. These associations provide a platform for alumni to stay engaged with their alma mater, offering opportunities for networking, professional development, and social interaction. They often organize events such as reunions, seminars, and workshops, which help alumni stay updated with the latest developments in their field and maintain their professional networks.

The objectives of Alumni Association are to

Maintain and strengthen the bond between the college and its alumni through regular communication and events.
Provide platforms for alumni to connect with each other for professional and personal growth.
Offer mentorship, internships, and career guidance to current students, helping them navigate their academic and professional journeys.
Raise funds to support scholarships, infrastructure projects, and other college initiatives.
Plan and execute reunions, seminars, workshops, and other events that bring alumni together.
Provide a channel for alumni to give feedback and suggestions for the continuous improvement of the college.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Establishing a governing body to oversee the association’s activities and ensure alignment with the college’s mission and goals.
Organizing reunions, networking events, seminars, and workshops to engage alumni
Maintaining regular communication with alumni through newsletters, social media, and other channels to keep them informed about college news and events.
Coordinating fundraising efforts to support scholarships, infrastructure projects, and other college initiatives.
Developing and managing mentorship programs where alumni can guide current students and recent graduates.
Providing career support services such as job postings, career counselling, and professional development workshops.
Maintaining an up-to-date database of alumni contact information and career achievements.
Encouraging alumni to participate in community service and outreach programs, enhancing the college’s impact on society.
