About R. C. Patel Arts, Commerce and Science College
R.C. Patel Arts, Commerce, and Science College was founded on September 19, 1991, by Mr. Amarish R. Patel. Initially managed by The Shirpur Education Society, it later became part of the R.C. Patel Educational Trust, Shirpur. At its inception, the college offered Arts and Science faculties with just 75 students. Over time, it has evolved into a multifaceted institution, now educating over 2,000 students in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. More than 100 qualified teachers provide education with dedication and sensitivity.
The college offers government-funded programs like B.A. and B.Sc. (excluding Biotechnology), while B.Com and professional courses are self-financed. The college is Grant-in-aid College sanctioned by Maharashtra state and also runs several self-financing courses. College is permanently affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and received 2 (F) and 12 (B) status of University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi. College also received Guajarati Minority Status and caters to the higher educational needs of students belonging to rural and semi urban area for last 26 years. The College is re-accredited by NAAC in 2020 by B++ grade with CGPA 2.94. Collegeis located in rural tribal area, working with a vision ‘to be pre-eminent institute which bring out the best among the students.
R.C.Patel Arts, Commerce & Science College is one of the few young institutions of RCPET Karvand Naka Campus which has, within a very short span established a prestigious name in the field of education. The college made a modest beginning in the year 1991 with less than 100 students offering just two educational streams. Today it proudly boasts of educating 2000+ students every year and offering more than 15 courses. Inspired by the vision of our founding president Mr. Amrishbhai Patel Endeavour to impart qualitative value-based education. Over the years we have strived to blend conventional education with contemporary courses to equip our students with knowledge and skills required for gainful employment. We offer, to our eligible students a basket of career-oriented courses to choose from, as per their likes and interests. The teaching learning process at our institute imbibes a very global approach i.e. while using the traditional personal touch method the faculty also uses the latest information communication technology to make the learning process highly effective. Several teaching techniques are used in combination to provide a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. This two pronged approach towards education grooms our students to face the professional challenges of career in a most amicable manner.
